2012 GENERAL CHAPTER FEES
All fees for the 2012 General Chapter are to be paid to the Provisor of the Chapter, Fr. John Kastenholz, O. Praem. Fees may be paid prior to the General Chapter or during the Chapter. Further information is provided below.
The General Chapter fee includes room and all meals during the Chapter
1 week = $550 USD for regular room & meals
1 week = $725 USD for deluxe room & meals in the Kress Inn
2 weeks = $1,100 USD for regular room & meals
2 weeks = $1,450 USD for deluxe room & meals in Kress Inn
Forms of Payment
+ Wire transfer to St. Norbert Abbey can be made by contacting the General Chapter Provisor at john.kastenholz@snc.edu.
+ Upon Arrival at the General Chapter Desk at St. Norbert College (Bemis International Center), delegates will register and have the opportunity to pay their fee. Delegates can pay with cash (US dollars or euro paper). Please have the correct amount. Delegates may also pay fees with a VISA or MASTERCARD credit card. No other credit cards will be accepted.
The Provisor will assist those needing US dollars while in De Pere. There is an ATM on campus. Banking fees are common for banking transactions in the US.
ADDITIONAL COSTS & REGISTRATIONS
All additional fees need to be paid in US dollars. You are encouraged to bring $80 to $100 with you. The Provisor will assist delegates with the conversion of currency to US Dollars. At the end of the Chapter, the Provisor will assist those with the conversion of US currency to Euros.
Optional costs not covered by the General Chapter fee include:
Evening Recreations - $2.00 USD donation per drink
Theater ticket
Vending Machines for snacks & cool drinks
Snack Bar food items in the Campus Center
Campus Bookstore – souvenirs
Laundry Machines (One gift card for laundry machines will be be part of a 'Welcome Gift Bag' to cover one wash and dry.)
Off-Campus meals at local restaurants. (It is a US custom to leave a 20% tip for the waiter or waitress.)
You will have opportunities to register for theater tickets and other events at the General Chapter Desk. It will also be necessary to register if you will NOT be partaking in the evening meal (if possible, 3 days in advance).
