Our brother Thomas Fox was born in Askeaton, Wisconsin in 1907. Working for two years after his graduation from St. Norbert High, he joined the Order in 1930.  Tom began his teaching career at St. Norbert High in 1932, followed by joining the faculty at Southeast in 1934.  He was solemnly professed in 1935. 

Tom was appointed athletic director of the college in 1936, and became a chaplain in the Army during World War II.  After a year at Central Catholic in 1946, he returned to the college, where Abbot Killeen appointed him food procurator for the Order and college.  In 1952, he became the chaplain at the reformatory.

A bout with TB placed him in the Hickory Grove Sanatorium in DePere in 1957, with surgery and recuperation at Madison General in 1959.  Tom also served as chaplain at St. Joseph Academy and Our Lady of Charity Convent before becoming pastor of St. Joseph in Oneida in 1962.  He died on Thursday, April 5,  1973 at the age of 65.
