Convent of Doksany, Czech Republic:
The convent is developing, with new construction in order to fashion living quarters for individuals who wish to make retreats with our Sisters.
A new member of the Third Order has recently been received into our convent.
We continue our gardening and vineyard activities.
Our prayers continue for all Souls in Purgatory, as well as for our confreres and other Sisters worldwide.
Convent in Olomouc, Czech Republic:
An election was recently held for a new Head of Province.
Convent of Bonlieu-sur-Roubion, France:
The sisters are heavily involved in the pastoral life of the community,
They are particularly active in the ADVENT program, which encourages prayer together in the family setting.
Convent of Zsambek, Hungary:
We continue to be heavily involved with our tradeschool, teaching working skills to young adults. We started the school with 30 students in 1996 - we have 480 now!
Our charitable activities also continue. We give daily free meals to over 100 families; distribute food parcels to 40-50 families per week, and distribute needed clothing to about 100 families per week.
Convent of Imbramowice, Poland:
Our spiritual activities continue around prayer and assistance to pilgrims at the Regional Shrine of the Passion of Our Lord, located in the Convent.
Our community has expanded with the addition of one Sister this year.
We are also rebuilding, modernizing and expanding our former Convent School as a hospice for pilgrims.
Convent of Krakow/Zwierzyniec, Poland:
We are most grateful for the visits by Pope John Paul II in 2002, and Pope Benedict XVI in 2006.
Convent of Vrbove, Slovakia:
One new Sister and ten Associates have been added this year to our Slovakian convents!
Sisters from our community retraced the steps of St. Paul, journeying through Athens, Corinth, and Naples.
Convent of Villoria de Orbigo, Spain:
Of course we continue our spiritual way of life. We have daily Mass, and we sing the Liturgy of the Hours
We are very involved in sewing commercially for a local factory, which certainly helps us financially.
Convent of Tehachepi, California, U.S.A.:
We have recently welcomed four new postulants into our Community!
We have expanded our facilities for formation of our postulants with a new work room.
Our farm continues to expand, as does our knowledge of how to work and manage it.
Our beekeeping activities are expanding as well, with new pastures of clover and lavender.
